Hey, check out these auctions: Cool, arent they?

Ok – one of my many planned but unfinished projects is to do a live show that consists of me playing my covers, or rather, interpretations, of my favorite albums. I want to do Arcade Fire’s funeral, and I have lots of different arrangements of each song on the album. I’ll never complete this project unless I start committing to some arrangements. So here is Neighborhood #1 Tunnels. I recorded this in the kitchen with the refrigerator unplugged. An SM57 is plugged into the camcorder. My MOTU Ultralite Mk3 arrives next week so then I’ll be tracking to the laptop (at least stereo) with a condenser mic. I like how the audio turned out on this one. The foot thumps sound right to me – we’ll see what happens with the youtube compression. Let me know your thoughts.
